October 1st through October 7th is National Week of the Family. This event is celebrated each October across Canada. The theme this year is "The Grandparent Connection". We are hosting a Literacy Luncheon at the centre on Friday, October 5th at 11:30. All families are invited to come by for a yummy potluck lunch. Before we have lunch we will be sharing stories together, focusing on the special bond reading together creates between grandparents and grandchildren.
